Indosat, the branch of the Ooredoo group providing telecommunications services in Indonesia, has become a regional partner of Arsenal FC (Premier League) until the end of the 2016-17 season, the club announced on 31/08/2015.

Indosat will broadcast exclusive mobile content of the London club to its customers in Indonesia. The company will activate the partnership by launching various competitions that will enable its clients to win match tickets or official merchandise autographed by the players. Indosat is also a regional partner of FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA).

"Arsenal has a huge following in Indonesia and following our 2013 pre-season tour, which saw the team travel to Jakarta, where the fan base has grown significantly. More Indonesian fans follow Arsenal on Facebook than in any other country," said Vinai Venkatesham, the commercial director of the club. Arsenal has 3.3 million Facebook fans in the country, constituting 9.9% of their total number of fans (33.41 million) as of 01/09/2015. The club generated £77.2m (€105.08m) in commercial revenue during the 2013-14 season.
