The pay-TV group Sky Italia has acquired the broadcasting rights, for 2015-16, in Italy, for the home and away matches of Parma Calcio 1913 in the Serie D (the Italian fourth division, the highest non-professional level), on 01/09/2015.

No financial details were disclosed of the agreement between Sky Italia, the new Parma club and the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti (Italian Amateur National League), which controls the centralised audiovisual rights of the Serie D, a championship which is not broadcast by any TV company in Italy.

The new club from the city of Parma (Italy) was launched by Guido Barilla, chairman of the Barilla agro-industrial group, on 01/07/2015, following the bankruptcy of Parma FC at the end of the 2014-15 Serie A TIM season. The club has more than 7,600 season ticket holders for the 2015-16 season in Serie D, which starts on Sunday 06/09/2015 (Union Arzignanochiampo - Parma Calcio 1913, Group D).
