FIFA: Zico presents his "10 foundations for change" and launched his campaign website

Zico (BRA), a candidate for FIFA president, has announced his "10 foundations for change" as his electoral programme, on 04/09/2015. "Pillars for a new FIFA: Democratisation, transparency, governance and the permanent evolution of world football," is the first point presented by Zico.

The former Brazilian international (72 caps between 1976 and 1988) announced his willingness to be candidate for the presidency of the international federation on 10/06/2015. The vote will take place during an extraordinary FIFA Congress in Zurich (SUI) on 26/02/2016. The deadline for submission of candidate applications in 26/10/2015. A candidate for the presidency of FIFA must be supported by at least five of the 209 national federations.

Zico's announcement of his "10 foundations for change" was publicised on www.zicofifa.com, a website launched on this occasion, which tracks the news of the Brazilian's campaign for election to the presidency of the FIFA.
