Spain: adidas extends its partnership with the Federation until 2026

The German kit supplier adidas has extended its partnership with the RFEF until 2026, the Spanish federation announced on 08/09/2015. This partnership began in 1981.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the Spanish Federation was receiving €18m per season in the previous contract. The RFEF received a €5m bonus following their last European Championship title (2012), amounting to a total allocation of €23m for that year. The partnership covers all male and female national teams and futsal teams. The RFEF made nearly €35m in sponsorship revenue in 2013.

"Our close relationship is not only the result of positive commercial agreements, but was built on an understanding that has lasted a long period of time. adidas has lived Spain's successes with the different teams since the beginning of the 80s, but has also supported the squads in their hardest times.
