ECA: K-H Rummenigge and A. Agnelli appointed as representatives to the UEFA Executive Committee

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (GER, FC Bayern Munich) and Andrea Agnelli (ITA, Juventus) have been appointed as the ECA representatives to the UEFA Executive Committee during the 15^th General Assembly of the European Club Association in Geneva (SUI) on 08/09/2015.

Michel Platini, the UEFA president, announced his desire that the UEFA Executive Committee be open to all "families of football" (representatives of the players, clubs, professional leagues and more), during the UEFA Congress in Vienna (AUT) on 24/03/2015. "I am now convinced that we have reached a time of maturity, wisdom, mutual trust and common sense. In other words, it is time to invite some or all of those branches of the family to join us at the top table -- the balance in terms of representation being yet to be decided," Platini stated during the UEFA Congress. The head of the European body has since announced his candidacy for the presidency of FIFA.
