Euro 2016: England the first qualified country to choose their base, at Chantilly in the Oise region

The training camp of the England team during Euro 2016 will be in Chantilly (Oise region, just north of the Charles de Gualle airport), the FA announced on 07/09/2015. England are the first of the four countries already qualified for the competition (in addition to France, as of 09/09/2015) to announce their choice of base for the finals of Euro 2016, which will be held in France from 10/06 to 10/07/2016.

The catalogue of potential training camps for Euro 2016 was posted on the Internet by the Euro 2016 SAS, the organiser of the competition, on 05/09/2014. The 23 qualified teams can choose between 66 sites to establish themselves, located throughout France. Each base includes a training center and a hotel, including in regions and cities that will not host matches at the finals, such as Brittany, Corsica and eastern France.

The FA announced that the England national team will stay at the Auberge du Jeu de Paume Hotel (5 star) and use the facilities of the amateur team US Chantilly (Division d'Honneur, French 6^th tier) for the competition.
