CEFC China Energy Company Limited, the Chinese energy supplier and financial services, has acquired a 59.97% stake in SK Slavia Praha (Czech first division), on 04/09/2015. This acquisition "ensures the short-term economic stability of the club and its development over the long term", stated the club, runners-up in the Czech Republic in 2014-15.

The shares were acquired from the former owner, Ales Řebíček. The Czech company Fly Sport Investments, owned by businessman Jiřího Simane, has retained 39.97% of the club's shares, while the remaining 0.06% are held by individual shareholders.

  • SK Slavia Praha will participate in the group stages of the Europa League in 2015-16.
    • The club is part of Group K, with Asteras Tripolis FC (GRE), APOEL FC (CYP) and FC Schalke 04 (GER).
