"A new stadium? No, at this time, I think Milan will stay at the San Siro. This is our home, it is being prettified because next year it'll host the Champions League final (28/05/2016). The San Siro was born to host football. The acquisition of a 48% stake in AC Milan by Thai investor Bee Taechaubol for €480m, is expected to be completed in late September or early October 2015. The businessman would like Milan to remain in their current stadium, which would be an "attractive brand for the Asian market," said the Italian newspaper Tuttosport, on 15/09/2015. In addition, Marina Berlusconi, the president of the holding company Fininvest which owns the club and the eldest daughter of Silvio Berlusconi, has had serious doubts about the financial viability of building a new stadium in the middle of the city, as well as the potential for legal action from the neighboring residents.
