Rugby World Cup: Live updates to be posted on digital screens on London tube network

ITV, the exclusive broadcaster of the 2015 Rugby World Cup in the UK, has become a trade partner of TfL (Transport for London), the managing body for the London public transport system, on 14/09/2015.

As part of this partnership, messages about the latest news and results of the 2015 Rugby World Cup will be broadcast on digital information screens at 180 tube and regional train stations in London.

"We feel it adds a different dimension to our customer service, and keeping all the sports men and women informed. Live updates are a key part of our commercial strategy and how we look at innovative ideas and partnerships that drive additional revenue and contribution to TfL," said Steve Griffiths, chief operating officer of TfL, on 09/14/2015.
