FIFA: Jerome Valcke is accused of being involved in ticket trafficking for the 2014 World Cup

Benny Alon, the former Israeli player and consultant to the Swiss company JB Sports Marketing, has accused Jerome Valcke, FIFA secretary general, of being involved in the resale of tickets on the black market, on 17/09/2015. According to the accusations of Benny Alon, reported by the French newspaper Le Monde, Jerome Valcke would have benefited from an agreement signed between JB Sports Marketing and FIFA regarding tickets for matches at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil to enrich himself personally, through the resale of the tickets at prices above face value.

FIFA announced that Jerome Valcke had been relieved of his duties as secretary general "with immediate effect and until further notice," on 17/09/2015. "FIFA has taken note of a series of allegations involving the secretary general and requested a formal investigation by the FIFA Ethics Committee," said the international federation.

Benny Alon submitted documents, including email exchanges with Jerome Valcke, designed to prove the guilt of the secretary general, during a press conference attended by European journalists in Zurich…
