FIFA: ExCo meeting on 24 and 25/09/2015 will discuss the extraordinary congress of 26/02/2016

The preparation of the FIFA Extraordinary Congress on 26/02/2016, at which the successor to Joseph Blatter as the head of the International Federation will be elected, as well as the confirmation of the agenda of the Extraordinary Congress, are included in the agenda of the FIFA Executive Committee meeting, at the headquarters of the international federation in Zurich (SUI) on 24 and 25/09/2015.

The agenda of this Executive Committee meeting, made public on 22/09/2015, was signed off by Markus Kattner, the acting secretary general of the international federation since Jerome Valcke, FIFA secretary general since 2007, was relieved of his duties on 17/09/2015. Jerome Valcke is suspected of being involved in a black market ticket resale scheme at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
