France: CommScope become the IT networks provider of the Stade de France

The American company CommScope have become the IT and telecommunication networks provider of the Stade de France (80,000 seats) in Paris, announced the Stade de France Consortium, on 21/09/2015.

Visitors and staff will benefit from broadband connections and interactive services on wifi and IPTV networks at the stadium. CommScope will provide about 70km of Systimax LazrSpeed multimode fibre wiring to connect nearly a thousand high-speed wifi access points and 400 IPTV networks throughout the stadium. CommScope will also provide nearly 44km of GigaSpeed X10D Class 6A wiring and its intelligent infrastructure solution imVision, as well their management capabilities via the data centre in the stadium. "This new network infrastructure will be upgradable, allowing the Stade de France to offer new services in its facilities in the future, without incurring costly upgrades," said the Stade de France Consortium.
