Serie A TIM: Marco Fassone steps down as general director of Inter Milan

The Italian Marco Fassone has stepped down as general director of FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM), the club announced on 18/09/2015. Fassone has been in the role since June 2012, after having held several positions in the direction of clubs such as SSC Napoli (2010-2012) and Juventus (2003-2010).

"We would like to thank Marco for his work at Inter over the past three years. He has always given his best for the club and we wish him every success for the future," said Michael Bolingbroke, CEO of Inter Milan, on 18/09/2015.

Marco Fassone is also CEO of M-I Stadio Srl, the managing company of the Giuseppe-Meazza stadium (80,000 seats) in Milan. Inter Milan did not specify whether Marco Fassone will retain these functions or not, however, Fassone is currently displaying this role on his profile on the professional social network LinkedIn, as of 24/09/2015.
