Matchday 5 of the 2015-16 Liga BBVA season attracted 23,633 spectators on average, from Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24/09/2015, the lowest number of fans of the 2015-16 season so far. The average attendance of the championship is currently at 27,805 spectators after 50 matches played, a fill rate of 71%.

The match between Athletic Club Bilbao - Real Madrid CF (1-2) drew the best crowd of the day with 43,387 fans at the San Mames Barria stadium (53,300 seats). Six out of 10 matches registered an attendance lower than 20,000 spectators on the first midweek Matchday of the season. The match between Levante UD - SD Eibar (2-2), which was attended by 10,929 people, attracted the lowest attendance of the Matchday.
