Liga BBVA: at least 3.89 million people watched Matchday 5 of the 2015-16 Liga BBVA season

At least 3.891 million viewers followed nine of the 10 matches on Matchday 5 of the 2015-16 Liga BBVA seasons, from 22 to 24/09/2015. This is the best cumulative audience of a Matchday in the Liga BBVA since the start of the 2015-16 season.

The best viewing figures were for the match between Real Betis Balompié - RC Deportivo La Coruña (1-2), which allowed the Spanish public channel La 1 to draw 1.893 million viewers on average during the match, on 24/09/2015 (22:05). This figure represents a 10.4% audience share class which meant that the group RTVE group channel achieved the fifth best viewership on the Spanish prime time television market, on Thursday 24/09/2015. This is the best audience share for a Liga BBVA match broadcast on La 1 since the start of the 2015-16 season.

All other matches were broadcast on the pay-TV channels of the telecommunications group Telefonica (Canal+ Liga, Canal+ Partidazo and Abono Fútbol). The best audience a match broadcast on pay-TV was attributed to Athletic Club Bilbao - Real Madrid CF (1-2) with an average of 695,000 subscribers, on 23/09/2015…
