France: LFP and Lyon file complaints against X regarding an article in Le Parisien about salaries

"In an article published this Thursday 01/10/2015, the newspaper Aujourd’hui en France - Le Parisien suggests that the LFP would release confidential data on the wages of some players of Olympique Lyonnais," said the League in a statement procured by News Tank Football on 01/10/2015.

"These insinuations are completely false. Taking into account the damage, the LFP and Olympique Lyonnais have decided to file a (legal) complaint against 'X'", the statement added.

Aujourd’hui en France - Le Parisien published, on 01/10/2015, the article "Football: the truth about the salaries of the Lyon stars" -- which especially concerned the contract between the club and striker Alexandre Lacazette: "The version (of the contract) signed by Lacazette finally, after weeks of tense negotiations has changed, as demonstrated by the contract forwarded to the LFP, we (Le Parisien) have learnt."
