Tax evasion: Uli Hoeness (Bayern) confesses to a hidden Swiss bank account

Uli Hoeness, President of the Supervisory Committee of FC Bayern Munich in Germany is the subject of an investigation for tax fraud after confessing that he has a hidden account in Switzerland, where he has concealed more than €10 million, according to the German newspaper Bild from 21/04/2013.

The manager has already paid back €3.2 million in taxes.

This is an embarrassing affair given Hoeness' recent comments to L'Equipe, 07/04/2013: "There is no point defining rules if certain people don't respect them." The comment was in reference to the implementation of UEFA's financial fair play scheme.
