Twitter: the ranking of subscribers of clubs in the European Top 5 as of 05/10/2015

Liverpool FC (Premier League), which has the largest number of foreign-language Twitter accounts with 20 different profiles, is the 6th most followed club in Europe across all combined accounts with 5.45 million followers (including 4.81 million on its main account), according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 05/10/2015. Manchester City FC (Premier League) is the second club with the most foreign accounts on Twitter, with 11 different profiles and 2.95 million accumulated followers.

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA), with 8 Twitter accounts, has nearly 31 million total followers, the best mark in Europe. Real Madrid CF (Liga BBVA), however has more Twitter followers on its main account (17.2 million) than FC Barcelona (16 million on main account). Real Madrid is second behind the Catalan club with 26.8 million total followers on its five Twitter accounts.
