Javier Medrano Tebas elected president of the Spanish Professional Football League

Javier Tebas Medrano has been provisionally made President of the Spanish LFP (Professional Football League) until 2017 by the LFP's Electoral Commission, 19/04/2013.

Javier Tebas, 50, has been Vice President of the LFP since 2001. He succeeds José Luis Iriondo Astiazarán, President since 2005. The election is provisional. Indeed, the Commission must consider any reservations regarding compliance with laws and regulations that would need to be communicated to him by 8pm on 25/04/2013.

The official results will be delivered at 12:30pm on 26/04/2013.
