Liga BBVA: Glade (home fragrances), becomes a regional partner of FC Barcelona in Brazil

Glade, the home fragrances brand, has become a regional partner of FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) in Brazil until September 2016, the two parties announced on 01/10/2015. The partnership was negotiated by the Brazilian agencies Traffic Sports and NR Sports.

The brand belongs to the group SC Johnson & Son, the American consumer goods producer. Glade will offer its Brazilian customers the opportunity to win an all expenses paid trip to attend a Barça match at the Camp Nou. The brand will use image rights of the club and their striker Neymar in Brazil for its media campaigns. Glade and FC Barcelona will also launch a range of co-branded products.

Barcelona also has a regional agreement with Tenys Pé Baruel, the Brazilian brand of deodorants specialising in foot hygiene. The club is linked to a total of 21 regional partners. Barcelona generated €168.8m in commercial revenues during the 2013-14 season.

• The partnership was unveiled in the presence of Juliano Belletti, the former Brazilian international and Barcelona player (2004-2007), during an event at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
