Instagram: Barcelona exceed 20 million followers on the photo-sharing app, best total in Europe

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) have exceeded 20 million followers on the photo-sharing social network Instagram, and has the highest number of Instagram followers in Europe, announced the club on 02/10/2015. Barça has more followers on Twitter than on Instagram. Barcelona's Instagram account was launched on 15/01/2013.

FC Barcelona are the 27th most followed account on the entire platform, according to the club. Barcelona striker Neymar Jr is the most followed football player on Instagram, with 32.5 million followers. The Catalan club has recently exceeded 200 million fans on social networks across all accounts. It has 40 accounts in total across 14 different social networks.
