Deezer: partnership with radio broadcasters talkSPORT and Sport1 for Premier League and Bundesliga

Deezer, the French music and radio streaming platform via internet, IPTV and mobile, has created a new designated football section and formed a partnership with the UK radio station talkSPORT as well as its German counterpart Sport1, on 01/10/2015.

This partnership allows British Deezer users to stream the radio broadcasts of 64 Barclays Premier League games in 2015-16 on talkSPORT, the official radio station of the English first division in the UK and Ireland (alongside BBC Radio and Absolute Radio) during the 2013-2016 cycle. They can also follow the broadcast of a selection of Emirates FA Cup matches.

The partnership is the same in Germany, where users can follow radio broadcasts of Bundesliga matches on Sport1.FM. Similar partnerships are expected to emerge soon in other European countries, according to the British newspaper The Guardian on 01/10/2015.

In addition to live commentary, Deezer Football also provides podcasts (only in the UK), live scores and league ranking updates, football music playlists, as well as news.
