Matchday 9 of the 2015-16 Ligue 1 season was attended by an average of 19,150 spectators per match from 02 to 04/10/2015. The average attendance of the championship is currently 20,711 spectators per match, equating to 1,626 persons less (-7.27%) than at the end of the 2014-15 season. The Ligue 1 stadium fill rate is currently 68% in 2015-16.

The "classique" between Paris Saint Germain - Olympique de Marseille (2-1) attracted the highest attendance of the weekend, with 47,199 spectators at the Parc des Princes, according to figures from the LFP. Only three matches were played in front of over 20,000 spectators. The match between GFC Ajaccio - Toulouse FC (2-2) drew the smallest crowd of the weekend, with 3,465 spectators.

The match between OGC Nice - FC Nantes was abandoned in the 46th minute (with the score at 2-2), due to pitch becoming unplayable due to heavy rain, on 03/10/2015. The game will be replayed in full at another date.
