FIFA: Chuck Blazer, member of the Executive Committee has been provisionally suspended

The American, Chuck Blazer, a member of FIFA's Executive Committee has been suspended from all football-related activity for a maximum of 90 days by the International Federation's Ethics Committee tribunal on the 06/05/2013.

This decision "is based on the fact that Chuck Blazer seems to have violated the FIFA Code of Ethics" said FIFA.

Chuck Blazer, 68, has served on FIFA's Executive Committee since 1997.

At the next Congress meeting on 30 and 31/05/2013 in Mauritius, Blazer will be replaced by the American, Sunil Gulati, President USSF (U.S. Soccer Federation), elected at the Congress on the 19/04/2013.
