Premier League: CWC (Flow Sports channel) acquires the 2016-19 broadcasting rights in the Caribbean

The British telecommunications operator CWC (Cable & Wireless Communications) has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights to the Barclays Premier League for the 2016-2019 cycle, for 32 countries and territories in the Caribbean, on 07/10/2015.

The 380 matches in the Premiership each season will be broadcast on the pay-TV channel Flow Sports, launched by CWC in November 2015. The telecom operator has also acquired the rights to broadcast Premier League match highlights via mobile media.

For the 2013-2016 cycle, the Premier League broadcast rights in the Caribbean are held by International Media Content Ltd. (a subsidiary of the Digicel group since 2014). The matches are broadcast on the pay-TV channel SportsMax.
