Premier League: DirecTV acquires TV rights for the 2016-19 period in S. America (excluding Brazil)

The US pay-TV group DirecTV has extended its TV rights deal to broadcast the Barclays Premier League in South America for the 2016-2019 cycle, on 09/10/2015.

Only Brazil, where the TV rights were awarded to the ESPN group on 24/09/2015, is not included in this agreement.

The rights acquired by DirecTV are valid across all broadcasting platforms...
