Euro 2016: 20 countries have qualified for the finals, play-offs will decide the remaining 4 places

20 national teams have directly qualified for the finals of Euro 2016 (first edition to involve 24 teams) at the end of the 10th and final day of qualifying, held from 11 to 13/10/2015. In Addition to France, qualified as the host nation, the countries ranked first and second in each group, as well as the best third-placed team (Turkey), have qualified for the finals.

Two-legged play-off ties will be contested between the eight remaining third-placed teams to determine the final four qualifiers, with the first legs to be played from 12 to 14/11/2015 and the return legs from 15 to 17/11/2015. The draw for the play-offs will take place on Sunday 18/10/2015 from 11:20 (CET) at UEFA headquarters in Nyon (SUI).

The draw for the tournament finals, which will divide the 24 participants into six groups of four, will take place on 12/12/2015, from 18:00 CET at the Palais des Congrès in Paris (FRA).
