OL Groupe: €103.5m of revenue (-14%) and reduction of €5m in net deficit to €21.4m in 2014-15

The total operating revenue of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1) stood at €103.5m on 30/06/2015, compared to €120.5m one year earlier, a decline of 14% (-€17m), announced the OL Groupe, the holding company which owns the Lyon club, on 13/10/2015, after having approved the accounts for the 2014-15 fiscal year.

Operating revenue excluding revenue from player trading amounted to €96.3m in 2014-15, compared to €104.4m in 2013-14, a decrease of 8% (-€8.1m) year-on-year, "directly related to the non-participation of the club in the group stage of a European Cup (impact of €13.7m) and the postponement of a plan for player sales in the summer of 2014 (-€8.9m)," indicated the OL Groupe.

The group's EBITDA was -€7.2m on 30/06/2015, compared to -€7.5m one year earlier. The operating result improved by €6.8m, from -€24.9m on 30/06/2014 to -€18.1m at the end of the 2014-15 fiscal year. The net deficit of OL Groupe amounted to €21.4m on 30/06/2015, or €5m less than in 2013-14 (-€26.4m).
