Premier League champions, Manchester United, should close at €500 million in the 2013-14 season, according to NTF estimates, thanks to the increased broadcasting rights the Premier League and the arrival of new sponsors.

These new revenue streams should allow Manchester United to get closer to the €512.6m turnover that Real Madrid registered in 2011-12 and start reclaiming its position as the world's richest club.

United dominated the Forbes list of the world's richest clubs from 2004 to 2011, but they were finally toppled in 2012 by Real Madrid (valued at €2.5 billion whilst Manchester United registed €2.4 billion).
