HypoVereinsbank, part of the UniCredit group, has extended its partnership, which started in 2003, with FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) until the end of the 2021-22 season, the club announced on 15/10/2015.

The bank retains the right to use the image rights of the Bayern players for its media campaigns in Germany. It will also offer its customers credit cards featuring the colours of the Bavarian club.

Bayern Munich have extended their main sponsorship deals in recent months with their shirt sponsor Deutsche Telekom (estimated at €30m per year until 2022-23), the equipment manufacturer adidas (estimated at €60m per year until 2030) and also their automotive partner Audi (part of the Volkswagen group, until 2024-25). The club's sponsorship revenues should increase sharply. Bayern achieved €117.7m in commercial revenue during the 2013-14 season.
