Italy: Fiat extends its partnership with the FIGC (Italian Federation) until 2018

The Italian automobile manufacturer Fiat has extended its partnership as a top sponsor and official car supplier to the FIGC until the end of 2018, the Italian Federation announced on 14/10/2015. The FIGC will also announce in the coming days the extension of its sponsorship agreement with the telecommunications company TIM as a top sponsor, the second highest ranking in the hierarchy of the Federation's partners.

Fiat will provide a fleet of cars during friendly or official matches of the Azzurri in Italy. The Turin-based brand will also be visible on the players' kit, as well as on the substitutes benches. The company also retains the image rights of the FIGC and national team players for Euro 2016 in France and the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The partnership between the two parties began in 2000. The Italian Federation generated €42.13m in sponsorship and advertising revenues, equating to 24.8% of its total turnover in 2014.
