UEFA: "We are convinced that there will be a final decision by mid-November" (Gianni Infantino)

"We are convinced that there will be a final decision by mid-November. If there is no final decision by then, we will meet and discuss the matter, and we'll tell you what we are going to do, in the most transparent way possible," said Gianni Infantino (SUI), UEFA secretary general, on 15/10/2015.

The UEFA Executive Committee met in Nyon (SUI) on 15/10/2015, and decided to reaffirm its support for Michel Platini, UEFA president currently suspended for 90 days from any activity in football, since 08/10/2015. The 54 national federations under the European Confederation also met the same day at UEFA headquarters, and also provided unanimous support and "absolute confidence" in Michel Platini.
