Alexis Sanchez (CHI, Arsenal FC) becomes an ambassador for Huawei in Chile

Alexis Sanchez (CHI, Arsenal FC) has become an ambassador for Huawei, the Chinese IT and communications group, in Chile, announced the brand on 15/10/2015. Huawei is also a partner of Arsenal FC (Premier League) until the end of the 2015-16 season.

"As a company we look to position ourselves as world leaders by delivering quality products, services and solutions. Generating trust and dependability is also very important to the company and we see these aspects accurately depicted in the player," said Qin Hua, president of Huawei Chile, on 16/10/2015.

Huawei hope that this partnership with the Chilean star will increase its visibility in South America. The Chinese company has also signed with James Rodriguez (COL, Real Madrid CF) as a brand ambassador in Colombia.

• The sales revenue generated by Huawei in North, Central and South America amounted to €4.27bn, or 10.7% of the group's total sales.
• The Chinese group makes most of its sales in China, where it generates €15.08bn, or 37.8% of its total sales.
