Champions League: 2014-15 runner-up Juventus (€89.1m) received 46% more than winner Barcelona

Juventus (Serie A TIM), defeated in the final of the 2014-15 Champions League (1-3 against FC Barcelona in the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, GER, on 06/06/2015) is, with €89.1m, the club which collected the most revenue distributed by UEFA for its journey in this competition, shows the payout table published by the European body on 16/10/2015 (four months and 10 days after the final, compared to one month and two days in 2014).

This €89.1m mark is 46% more than FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA), the winner of the event, received (€61m) and 59% more than Paris Saint -Germain (Ligue 1, nearly €56.2m), eliminated in the quarter-finals of the competition, but received the third highest amount of revenue distributed by UEFA at the end of the 2014-15 Champions League.

In total, well over one billion Euros (€1,008.9m) was distributed by the European body to the 32 clubs in the group stage. €492.9m (47.9% of total) was distributed in the form of "market pool", distributed in proportion to the value of each TV market of the participants, and divided between those clubs of the same…
