FIFA: Ethics Committee "will do everything" to make a decision about Platini during his suspension

"The investigatory chamber of the independent Ethics Committee has confirmed that proceedings are ongoing against FIFA President Joseph Blatter and UEFA President Michel Platini, both of whom are currently provisionally suspended. The investigation is focusing on a payment of 2 million Swiss Francs (€1.54m Euros at the time of the payment) from FIFA to Michel Platini in February 2011," stated FIFA on 21/10/2015.

Michel Platini and Joseph Blatter were both suspended for a period of 90 days from any activity in football at national and international level by the adjudicatory chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee on 08/10/2015. The FIFA Executive Committee agreed to amend Article 36 of the FIFA Code of Ethics at its last meeting on 25/09/2015, allowing the Ethics Committee to publish more information about its ongoing proceedings.
