Bundesliga: Matchday 9 draws a record 4.2 million subscribers on Sky channels

The nine games of Matchday 9 of the 2015-16 Bundesliga, played from 16 to 18/10/2015, cumulatively drew at least 4.192 million subscribers on average on the channels of the pay-TV group Sky Deutschland, according to the German institutes of audience data measurement AGF and GfK.

This is the best cumulative audience of a Bundesliga matchday since the start of the 2015-16 season.

The best audience of the weekend was attributed to the match between SV Werder Bremen - FC Bayern Munich (0-1), which attracted an average of 870,000 subscribers on Sky Bundesliga HD 3 on Saturday 17/10/2015 (kick-off at 15:30 CET).

The lowest audience of the day was for the match between FC Augsburg - SV Darmstadt 98 (0-2), played at the same time, which was watched by less than 5,000 subscribers on average; a figure that was too low to be recognised by the audience data measurement institutes AGF and GfK.
