Champions League: Nissan activates partnership with the #NissanLiveBuzz scheme at the PSG-Real match

The Japanese automaker Nissan activated its partnership with the Champions League in the match between Real Madrid CF - Paris Saint Germain FC (0-0), with the #NissanLiveBuzz scheme, on 21/10/2015. In the five minutes following each goal scored, Nissan provided statistics on the number of tweets generated by these goals.

Since no goal was scored, Nissan reported the number of tweets sent with the hashtag #PSGREAL at halftime and after the game. 361,738 tweets were posted using the hashtag during the match, including 157,677 tweets in the first half.

To win two tickets for the future match between Paris Saint Germain - Shakhtar Donetsk (Group A, Matchday 6 on 08/12/2015, kick-off 20:45 CET), supporters had to re-tweet one or more of the brand's tweets with the hashtag #NissanLiveBuzz. Nissan is partnered with Champions League until 2017-18. The deal is estimated at over €54m per year.
