Sponsoring: Paris Saint-Germain to continue with Emirates

PSG have entered into a principle agreement with the Emirates airline so that it remains the shirt sponsor for an additional five seasons beginning in 2014 or 2015. The deal is worth €20m per season and was announced on the 01/02/2013 by Boutros Boutros, Vice President of the company based in Dubai (UAE) . The final agreement should be signed by the end of March 2013.

This contract commercially aligns the French club with the biggest in Europe, behind Manchester United who will receive €60m per year from Chevrolet (General Motors), FC Barcelona who earn €33m annually from the Qatar Foundation and Bayern Munich who receive €30m per year from Deutsche Telekom.

The extension of the PSG/Emirates agreement was revealed the day after the announcement on the 31/01/2013, the arrival of English player David Beckham, 37. "He is a footballing ambassador, a huge brand" said Boutros Boutros. "Football has been badly affected by scandals and rumours..."
