The NFL extends its contract with Wembley stadium for at least two games per year until 2020

The NFL has extended its agreement with Wembley National Stadium Limited (a subsidiary of the FA), the operating company for Wembley Stadium (London, 90,000 seats), to play at least two regular-season games per year in the stadium until 2020, announced the League on 22/10/2015.

The new contract includes an option to extend until 2025. The NFL has organised at least one regular season game at Wembley per year from 2007 to 2014, and three games per season since 2014.

The owners of the 32 NFL franchises voted in favour of extending the agreement to relocate certain regular-season games abroad until 2025, on 07/10/2015. Three countries have been tipped to host these matches: Mexico, Germany and Canada. The Pro Bowl, the season-ending match featuring the best players in the league, which has been played in Hawaii since 1980 (except in 2010 when the match was played in Miami, Florida), could also be played abroad (Brazil, South Africa, Australia and Asia are among the rumoured destinations) from 2018.
