Spain: Copa del Rey to be broadcast on YouTube in 20 countries (€4.99 per match)

LaLiga and the Spanish broadcaster Mediapro have established a partnership with YouTube, the video sharing and streaming platform, to broadcast the 2015-16 edition of the Copa del Rey outside of Spain, on 26/10/2015.

The Spanish professional football league and Mediapro, who own the rights to broadcast Spanish professional competitions outside of Spain, have created "LaLigaTVCopa", a paid YouTube channel, which is already accessible in 20 countries across Europe, Asia and South America (see list below). New countries could also be included in the agreement.

YouTube users can follow Copa del Rey matches live and in high-definition, by paying for each match individually (€4.99 per match) or for the entire 2015-16 competition (€19.99 excluding the final).

• In the fourth round of the 2015-16 Copa del Rey(the equivalent of the Round of 16), FC Barcelona will play away at CF Villanovense (Segunda B, Spanish third division) on 28/10/2015.
  • The return leg is scheduled to take place on 02/12/2015.
