Qatar: opening of the "Laliga Lounge" in Doha, a café-restaurant dedicated to the Liga BBVA

LaLiga will open the "LaLiga Lounge", a café-restaurant dedicated to the Liga BBVA, in Doha (QAT), before the end of the 2015-16 season, announced the Spanish professional football league on 26/10/2015. LaLiga have partnered with the Qatari company Alnajjah (founded in 2015), who will run the project, which has been in production since 2013.

Customers at the "LaLiga Lounge", which will be situated in the Aspire Zone complex, will be able to follow Liga BBVA matches live on giant screens. The property will also have an official LaLiga store, as well as meeting rooms and private areas.

"We hope to grow in the coming years in order to be present in every capital of the world," said Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, during the presentation of the project on 26/10/2015. "If we expand the project, this company (the Alnajjah company) will be responsible for the Middle East area. But we are also negotiating with companies in China, which is another strategic destination," said Javier Tebas.
