Lagardère Sports, the sporting division of Lagardère Sports and Entertainment, has been contracted by the City of Paris for the design, development and operation of the Fan Zone at the Champ de Mars in Paris during Euro 2016, the agency announced on 27/10/2015.

The Fan Zone will be used throughout the Euro 2016 and will broadcast all matches of the competition (from 10/06 to 10/07/2016). Lagardère Sports will draw on the expertise of Electron Libre Productions (a subsidiary of Lagardère Studios), for the organisation of concerts at the venue. A grand opening concert by the French musician David Guetta is scheduled on 09/06/2016. Entertainment and arts events will take place throughout the European championship.

The cumulative expenditure in the various Fan Zones is expected to generate €352m, with 55% coming from foreign fans (€195m) according to a study conducted by the CDES at the request of UEFA in late 2014 and submitted on 15/09/2015.
