City Football Group: creation of a subsidiary in Singapore to manage the business in Southeast Asia

CFG (City Football Group), the holding company which owns Manchester City FC (Premier League), has created City Football Singapore, a sales subsidiary in Singapore responsible for managing the group's operations in Southeast Asia, announced the club on 27/10/2015.

"We have been working with well-loved brands across the region for some time. City Football Singapore gives us a permanent home from which we can work with our partners to manage and activate those relationships, as well as helping us to continue to expand," said Omar Berrada, commercial director of City Football Group on 27/10/2015.

Manchester City has five partners in Southeast Asia: Singha (beer, regional partner in Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar), Nexen Tire (tyres, South Korea), QNET (direct sales, Hong Kong), SHB (bank, Vietnam) and Jiwasraya (insurance, Indonesia). The City Football Group, whose head office is located in Manchester (ENG), has other offices around the world in Abu Dhabi (UAE), London (ENG), New York (USA), Melbourne (AUS) and Tokyo (JPN).
