Ligue 1: Investing Area (trading), becomes a partner of AS Saint-Étienne until 2016-17

The trading company Investing Area, has partnered with AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1) and will appear on the left front of the team's shorts until the end of the 2016-17 season, announced the club on 28/10/2015. The logo was visible for the match between Paris Saint Germain FC - AS Saint-Étienne (4-1, Matchday 11), on 25/10/2015. The partnership was negotiated by Lagardère Sports, the club's marketing management agency.

The brand will also be visible on the LED advertising boards of the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium. Founded in 2009, Investing Area "supports traders in their operations and advises many business firms worldwide." This partnership is the first agreement in the sports sector for the company, which is registered in Cyprus.

Saint-Étienne's sponsorship revenues increased by €100,000, totalling €7.55m (14.1% of the club's total revenue) in 2013-14, excluding representation commissions.

  • The club has a budget of €68m for the 2015-16 season.
