NBA: the Kia logo will appear on the players' jerseys during the All-Star Games in 2016 and 2017

The logo of the Korean automaker Kia, an official partner of the NBA since 2009, will be visible on an 8.3 cm x 4 cm area on the top left of the players' shirts during the next two All-Star Games, in 2016 and 2017, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing an inside source from the NBA, on 29/10/2015.

The contract was negotiated between Kia and Turner (Time Warner Group), the official broadcaster of the NBA who, by signing a contract with the NBA, obtained the exclusive rights to market advertising space on the players shirts, according to Jon Diament, vice-president of Turner Sports. Kia has extended its contract with the NBA until 2017, and was partnered with 14 franchises in 2014-15.
