Wales: Dafabet (betting) becomes a partner of the Welsh Association until August 2018

Dafabet, the betting and online games operator registered in the Philippines, has become a partner of the FAW until August 2018, announced the Welsh Association on 30/10/2015.

"Dafabet’s investment into Welsh Football through the Welsh Premier League and now the national team shows their long term commitment to football in Wales and we look forward to this exciting partnership," said Ian Davis, head of commercial and marketing of Dafabet. The company, founded in 2004, became the title sponsor of the Welsh Premier League (the Dafabet Premier League), at the start of the 2015-16 season.

The betting operator is entitled to the marketing rights of players in the Welsh national team, who are currently eighth in the FIFA rankings. Wales qualified for Euro 2016 after finishing second in Group B in qualifying.
