FIFA16: 1.5 billion hours of gameplay and 326 million matches played during the first 16 days

FIFA16, the football video game developed by EA Sports, has totaled over 1.5 billion hours of gameplay and more than 326 million games played in the first 16 days following its release (on either 24/09 or 10/09/2015), announced the company on 04/11/2015.

The Premier League is the most popular championship in terms of the number of games played, ahead of the Liga BBVA and the Bundesliga. Ligue 1 is fourth in the list, ahead of Serie A TIM. Manchester United FC are the most used club in the game.

  • FIFA16 introduced women's football with the option of 12 national teams: Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy and Mexico.
  • Alex Morgan (USA) is the first woman to reach a million goals in the game.
