Ligue 1: Olympique Lyonnais install a hybrid pitch with AirFibr technology by Natural Grass

Olympique Lyonnais have installed a hybrid pitch using AirFibr technology, developed by the French company Natural Grass, at the Grand Stade de Lyon (59,000 places), on 04/11/2015.

The Grand Stade de Lyon, which is scheduled to open for the match between Olympique Lyonnais - ESTAC Troyes (Ligue 1, Matchday 20), on Saturday 09/01/2016, making Lyon the seventh club in Ligue 1 in 2015-16 to play on an AirFibr technology pitch. The six clubs who already have a pitch developed by Natural Grass are ESTAC Troyes, AS Saint-Etienne, Toulouse FC, Montpellier Hérault SC, FC Girondins de Bordeaux and Olympique de Marseille.

Olympique Lyonnais are the tenth club in Ligue 1 club to install a hybrid pitch, as, in addition to the seven clubs equipped by Natural Grass, Paris Saint-Germain FC, EA Guingamp and FC Nantes have a pitch with Desso GrassMaster technology, developed by the Dutch company Desso Sports Systems.
