NBA: YinzCam (mobile software) becomes the official application developer of the league in 2015-16

YinzCam, a company specialising in mobile software and applications, has become the official app developer of the NBA for the 2015-16 season, announced the company on 02/11/2015. YinzCam will be responsible for developing applications for the 22 franchises in the league and to implement innovations such as content using geolocation, audio and video links to for live viewing, and video replays accessible via Wi-Fi in the stadium.

"I am delighted at the growth of YinzCam's business through our partnership with the NBA. The partnership has grown our platform into new directions, such as the Jr. NBA app, as well as a richer set of data-driven features, social games or ticketing and location content," said Priya Narasimhan, managing director and founder of YinzCam, on 02/11/2015.

As part of the agreement, the NBA bought a stake in the capital of YinzCam, which is already a partner of 20 franchises in the league.
