FIFA: Gianni Infantino received at CONMEBOL headquarters in Paraguay by President Juan Angel Napout

Gianni Infantino, UEFA general secretary and candidate for the presidency of FIFA, was received by Juan Angel Napout (PAR), the president of CONMEBOL, at the headquarters of the South American confederation in Asuncion (PAR), announced the South American body on 06/11/2015. Wilmar Valdez (URU), a vice-president of CONMEBOL and the president of the Uruguayan Federation, and Alejandro Dominguez, president of the Paraguayan Federation, also participated in the meeting.

CONMEBOL has not communicated the agenda of this meeting, nor any of the mentioned subjects. Gianni Infantino, a candidate for the presidency of FIFA since 26/10/2015, the deadline for candidacy applications in preparation for the elections on 26/02/2016, may have presented to the South American leaders the major points of his programme, stressing the need to reform the international federation, indicated several Paraguayan media outlets.
